Sanjay Gupta is the Chief Development Officer and Global Head of Engineering with L&T Semiconductor Technologies (LTSCT). Mr. Gupta holds Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communication from Delhi College of Engineering and is an MBA from India’s top business school ISB (Indian School of Business) with special recognition in Dean’s list. He is a seasoned semiconductor technology professional with more than 28 years in the global and hi-tech Industry and holds distinguished experience in the semiconductors, embedded software, and electronics system design industry. He is known for passionately transforming teams from ‘Good to Great’ through Strategic initiatives and Innovation programs through continuous improvement mindset & collaborative leadership and has worked on almost all aspects of semiconductors ecosystem with some of the well-known brands in his professional stint. Prior to joining L&T Semiconductor technologies, Mr. Gupta was spearheading Minda Corporation’s fastest growing business vertical – Electronics Advanced Technologies, as President & CEO, and a member of the Executive. Earlier, he also served as the Global Vice President of Engineering and Managing Director for NXP’s India Technical Innovation Centres. He has held key positions at Freescale Semiconductors, Motorola as well as at Duet Technologies, both in the USA and India. Sanjay has been collaborating extensively with government bodies, industry stakeholders, and academic institutions for advancing the Indian Semiconductors & Electronics Ecosystem. Currently, he serves as the Chairman and Board Member of the IESA Executive Council which is the highest Apex body for the Indian Electronics & Semiconductors Association. He is also a key advisory member to Govt (MeiTY) and member advisory board in various Industry- Academia forums. Sanjay is Technologist at heart and holds multiple U.S. patents and numerous technical & business publications. He is a graduate from Delhi College of Engineering, and he holds an MBA from the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad.
