AUTO R&D Awards 2026
How can we recognise and motivate R&D teams across India to innovative in the field of automotive electronics and the entire EV eco-system?
That question lead us to the idea of setting up these awards.
What if we could invite the innovators or their peers to nominate innovative work being done in this field, in India? What if we could review their innovations and promote the worthy ones through our media platforms? What if we could recognise and reward the best ones with the help of a jury?
Those were the questions that emerged once we started thinking through how to frame these new set of awards.
For the 1st edition of these awards, we have attempted to keep things super simple:
No fee for nomination
No restriction on number of nominations per organisation
No restriction with respect to awards for specific categories
If there’s an innovation related to these fields, we want to hear about it, and evaluate it.
So, any selection criterion?
Yes, here are a few...
1. Innovation must be directly related to the field of automotive electronics or EV ecosystem.
2. Innovation must have been done in India, and in no other nation.
3. The innovation should ideally be a product in the market or a ready-to-see proof-of-concept. Idea-stage innovations are not applicable.
4. Innovation should have been done within the last 2 years i.e. Jan 2024 onwards.
5. Innovation should have been done by an organisation or an institution with presence in India.

How to Nominate?
1. Submit your nomination at efyawards@efy.in before deadline
2. Details your nomination should include:
a. Your Name
b. Your Designation
c. Your Organisation
d. Your Email ID
e. Your Mobile # (for our team to speak at)
f. Name of Nominated Organisation
g. Details of Nominated Innovation (What, When, Who, Where, Why, etc?)
h. Proof of Nominated Innovation (Video or Photos)
i. Details of Team Nominated and Name & Designation of Team Leader/Head
j. Address of Nominated Organisation
k. Any other details you believe will add value to the nomination
