Girish is the Senior Director and Country head of Sales – Automotive at Infineon Technologies, located in Bangalore. He heads the automotive sales, OEM business development and application engineering teams located in Bangalore, Pune and Delhi with focus on local customers, global customers and startups in the automotive semiconductor domain.

Girish has over 25 years of global experience in the automotive industry in the areas of Product Design and Development, Product Management, Customer Development, Sales and Program Management. Prior to Infineon, he was Vice-President and Head of Key Accounts and Sales at Continental Automotive. He also led the joint venture for ZF at Somic ZF and was responsible for Engineering and Sales function.

Between 1996 & 2010, he worked in the USA at Fisher Dynamics and TRW in various Engineering & Sales leadership roles including development of passive and active safety systems and seating applications.

He is a MBA from Michigan State University, MS in Mechanical Engineering from Texas Tech University and BE (Mechanical) from UVCE, Bangalore.

He loves to travel and explore new places with his family, enjoys exercising and tennis. He mentors young Engineers and Management students in his spare time.
